Temporary SIN Expiry Email

In an effort to help ensure that all Assignment employees with a temporary Social Insurance Number (starting with a 9) are notified when their SIN number is nearing expiry we have implemented the following automated email process.

Here’s how it works:

1. An email will go out to any assignment employee who is active on an order with a SIN that is expiring in 30 days or less and then each week until the SIN expiry date is updated on their file in Stafftrak.
2. A Quick Note is also added to the Person file (S9: SIN EXPIRED NOTIFICATION)
You can run a Quick Note Search at any time to see a list of workers who this email has been sent to, in the event you and your team want to do additional follow up.

Here is the current verbiage in the email that is going out:

Our records show that your Temporary Social Insurance Number (SIN) is expiring soon.
We require an updated copy of your Work permit or Study permit as soon as possible.
If you have been given a permanent Social Insurance Number, we require a copy of your new SIN Number.
Please reach out to (STAFFING AGENCY) directly with a copy of your new documents.
