Person – Delete from an Order

Introduction

If a person has ever been paid for any work done on the order they cannot be deleted – Instead you must End the persons order by updating their end date and making the appropriate note. If a candidate on an order does not have any payroll history tied to the order – you can delete them. This QRG outlines the steps of how to delete a person from an order.

DELETE A PERSON FROM AN ORDER

Within the Order file, select the Person tab.

Select the checkbox next to the Person, then select the Delete button. Stafftrak asks if you wish to continue. Select OK to complete.

You should only delete a person from an order if you have added them to the wrong order. If the person was scheduled to work on an order but did not show up for their assignment you can end them on the order with an end date the same as their start date and ensure you properly update the Attrition reason and Attrition Note so others will know why they have no hours. Example: No Call No Show , changed their mind etc.

To avoid them showing up on payroll, you could change the record type to accepted or job offered.

Please check with your management team to determine what process your team is currently using to document people who no call/no show on assignments.
